Claire & Clarissa Wintz

Claire and Clarissa are hands-on hard workers and multi-faceted artists who are deeply passionate about positively impacting their community. As enthusiastic environmentalists and activists, they established the Healing Roots Project to motivate others to participate in creating meaningful change. By organizing local park clean-ups they cultivate community spirit and inspire everyone to contribute to environmental efforts. Their goal is to teach others how they are able to do their part in creating change and spread awareness. As artists, change makers and truth seekers, they are always looking for ways to get involved and help make a difference. They show how even small actions can make a significant impact.
Devastated by the destruction caused by Hurricane Helen, they took action by hosting multiple supply drives and fundraisers to support those in the disaster stricken areas. Recognizing the importance of a resource center, they connected with Heather to build this nonprofit from the ground up, believing that no one should face the hardships of disaster alone. Together, they are committed to making a real impact in the lives of those affected and their mission is to continue to help create and run this foundation of resources so that they are easily accessible to those faced by devastation.
